The standard keyboard for the Xiaomi Pad 8 and 8 Pro It's basically a smart case that connects via Pogo Pins those golden dots located at the top. This is key because, when the magnets touch, the keyboard receives power from the tablet and sends the letters instantly, with zero latency. Forget about charging the keyboard via USB or Bluetooth disconnecting mid-sentence.

As for the keys, they have a 1.3 mm travel. This technically means they aren't flat like paper; when you type, you feel that real bounce of a good-quality laptop. The keys measure 16 x 16 mm, which is the standard size so you don't make a mistake with the letter if you have big fingers.
