Origin of Singles' Day

Singles' Day, or Guanggun Jie, is a holiday celebrating the pride of being single in China. This holiday originated at Nanjing University in 1993, where single people gathered to socialize and go on blind dates. Starting in 2012, the celebration moved online with incredible promotions and offers in China. Like Black Friday, this holiday has reached Spain and Europe, and for the past few years, we've joined in the celebration with offers and discounts for 11/11.
