Xiaomi Amazfit GTS 2, the second generation of the acclaimed smartwatch arrives
Introducing the new GTS 2, a smartwatch with several improvements over its predecessor, such as the addition of an NFC chip. We don't yet have a release date for the European market, but we expect it to be soon.
Xiaomi renews its super folio watch line with the new Amazfit GTS 2, a SmartWatch that maintains the essence of its predecessor but with improvements and adding some more sensors.
FINE AND ELEGANT DESIGN
We start with the aesthetic aspect of this amazfit GTS 2 that maintains design lines very similar to those of the amazfit GTS. We continue with that square shape only frames and with curved panel. This smartwacth GTS 2 would not clash in the Audrey Hepburn doll along with the handsome George Peppard in the legendary movie Breakfast with Diamonds.
1.39-INCH AMOLED PANEL
The panel that adorns the Amazfit GTS 2 is a 1.35-inch AMOLED display that features a 348 x 242 pixel resolution. On the right side of this panel we have a single physical button embedded in the right edge which is what we can control various functions of the SmartWatch. On the other hand, we will have it available in 3 colors: black, silver and gold.
NFC CHIP AND BLOOD OXYGEN MEASUREMENT
As we discussed at the beginning, this new version of the GTS has some additional sensors, such as...NFC (which remains to be seen if it will be included in the European version) .
The manufacturer Huami that belongs to Xiaomi has revealed this GTS 2 will be able to store between 300 and 600 MP3 songs in its internal storage. As for the functionalities, we have sleep and heart rate monitoring, 12 different sport modes and how could the famous calculation of the blood oxygen saturation (Sp02) we have so fashionable now on all wearables.
On the other hand we also have a microphone and speaker to communicate with Xiaomi's smart assistant service. Of course, a state-of-the-art built-in GPS chip could not be missing to have the most exact geolocation possible at all times.

In terms of autonomy, this amazfit GTS 2 has a 246 milliamp battery that promises us up to 7 days of autonomy.
