Carl Pei left OnePlus a few years ago to embark on a new project, creating a new brand called Nothing. The former OnePlus co-founder promises a smartphone that aims to be a high-end device. a stylish and clean software.

We won't have to wait long, as we've learned today that the new Nothing phone (1) will be unveiled on July 12th and will also be available in Spain and our region. kiboTEK website.

The new brand Nothing is being very cautious, and we know practically no details about the hardware this new device will have; what we do know is that it will have a high-end processor And its features won't leave us indifferent. Today we learned what its rear design will be, and as we've seen in the manufacturer's launchers, its style doesn't disappoint.

The The back design is translucent. This will make the new Nothing phone (1) a smartphone unlike anything we've seen before. As we can see in the images, this smartphone won't be completely transparent, but it does have some very striking features, such as Soft white ones that can be illuminated to receive notifications.

As we mentioned earlier, Nothing has kept many specifications under wraps for its presentation, but what we do know is that it will come with a high-end processor and will be... Qualcomm Snapdragon. Herein lies one of the biggest unknowns, because we don't know if it will be the top-of-the-range processor, the first-generation Snapdragon 8, or if we'll go down to the Snapdragon 888 or 870 to lower the price of the smartphone.

What we do know is that it will have 8 GB of RAM and 128GB of memory, which will accompany a super screen 6.43-inch AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate. As for the photographic section, Nothing Phone (1) promises a similar spectacular 3-sensor camera with a 50-megapixel main camera that will compete in the mid-range.

One of the most attractive aspects of this new brand is its Android-based customization layer called Nothing OS. It's a customization layer that will closely resemble what you'd find on a... smartphone with pure Android Similar to the Google Pixel. It's a launcher modified by Nothing that features its own fonts, sounds, and unique interface elements created specifically for this phone. You can try this new launcher completely free at the following link.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nothing.launcher

Another important aspect to consider about this new phone is that they promise us 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches. That means if the Nothing Phone (1) is released with Android 12, it will be updated to version 12. Android 15.

At the moment we don't know much more and the All the details will be revealed to us on July 12th. Although more specifications of this new smartphone will probably be revealed to us between now and that date.

The price range for the Nothing Phone (1) is probably between €400 and €500 although there is no official confirmation yet.

You can buy the Nothing Phone (1) on our kiboTEK website and in our physical store in Bilbao.

Cada vez queda menos para conocer el nuevo smartphone Nothing Phone (1) .
