Xiaomi's sub-brand, Redmi, is once again taking its chest out and introducing us to a gigantic 98-inch Smart TV.
Taking advantage of the presentation of the new Redmi k30 Pro, the Chinese brand has surprised us again, this time with a TV with a 4K resolution with a huge size. The Redmi TV Max is designed not only to enjoy a very good image quality, but also to live the best home theater experience. Of course, for this you will have to have a fairly generous living room or a room dedicated to a movie theater, because we are talking about a television that is probably larger than the bed or the sofa from where you are going to see it.
More than meters, almost like the sofa in your house when you grow up
Xiaomi is not on this occasion the first manufacturer to have a television of so many inches, but even so, a device with a width of more than 2 meters and 70kg of weight continues to draw our attention. How could it be otherwise, the design of this Redmi smart TV Max follows the lines that we have seen in previous Xiaomi televisions, with very thin frames finished in aluminum.
4K resolution with an LCD panel
As for the screen, it has a 98-inch LCD panel with 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. We are talking about a 60 hertz panel with an NTSC color gamut of 85 % and with HDR compatibility. Inside the television we find a 64-bit A55 cortex processor made in 12 nanometers with a Mali G31 MP2 GPU. Regarding storage we have 4 GB of RAM memory with 64 GB of internal storage.
Redmi Smart TV Max features
Available sizes 43 ″, 65 ″ and 98 ″
4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels
60Hz refresh rate
Cortex A55 processor with Mali-G31 MP2 GPU
PatchWall operating system
4GB RAM memory with 64GB internal memory

With 2 x 8W sound, Dolby Audio and DTS-DH
Dimensions of 2,190 x 1354 with 70KG of weight
PatchWall operating system with two 8W speakers
We cannot forget about the audio because Redmi TV Max has a system of two 8W speakers each. Of course compatible with dolby audio and DTS HD sound. On the back of the Redmi TV Max it incorporates 3 HDMI ports, one of them being HDMI ARC, 2 USB ports and both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Like the other Xiaomi televisions in the Chinese market, in this case the Redmi TV Max incorporates the Patchwall operating system (xiaomi's own operating system for smart TV). In the event that the model went out for the international market, it would probably carry an Android TV as in the models that it has for sale in Spain.
As in many of its products, in the end, the Chinese brand Xiaomi stands out in the quality-price section. The Redmi TV Max will be available from April in China with a price of 19,999 yuan which is about € 2,600 in exchange. Taking into account that the competition in brands such as Samsung or LG ranges from 9,000 to 10,000 euros, this price is undoubtedly a real candy.
