Xiaomi Redmi 9A and Xiaomi Redmi 9C, Xiaomi's entry range presented

Xiaomi's entry range is back and it does so with the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C… If you need a cheap mobile with acceptable features, these will be the best options on the market.

Xiaomi Redmi 9A

We start with the smaller of the two, which is the Xiaomi Redmi 9A.

6.53 ″ LCD screen and Mediatek Helio G25 processor

We find an LCD screen of 6.53 inch HD Plus. In the engine room we find a processor MediaTek Helio G25 accompanied by 2 GB of RAM with 32 GB memory with the possibility of adding a micro SD card.

Giant 5,000mAh battery

In the photographic section we find single 13 megapixel rear camera and on the front another 5 megapixels. As for the battery we find a surprise since this terminal, even being an input range, has 5000 milliamps which translates into a more than acceptable autonomy.

Android 10 with MIUI 11

Of course this terminal will be accompanied by Android 10 with MIUI 11. How much connectivity will we have? 4G, WiFi 5.0, Bluetooth 5.0 and 3.5 Jack connection for our headphones.

Xiaomi Redmi 9C

We now go with the Xiaomi Redmi 9C where we hardly find significant differences but enough to opt for one or the other.

6.53 ″ LCD screen with Mediatek Helio G35 processor

In the case of the Redmi 9C we also have an LCD screen of 6.53 inches with HD Plus. This time in the engine room we have a different and slightly more powerful processor such as the MediaTek helium G35. Storage and RAM is exactly the same as on the Redmi 9A with RAM 2GB and 32GB memory card expandable via microSD card.

3 Cameras at the rear

In the photographic section we notice some difference since this Xiaomi Redmi 9C we have 3 cameras in the back with a main sensor of 13 megapixels, a wide angle and another depth sensor. On the front we find a single 5 megapixel camera.

Long battery life

Regarding autonomy, this Xiaomi Redmi 9C has 5000 milliamps like his little brother
Redmi 9A.

Regarding connectivity, this Xiaomi Redmi 9C has a 4G connection, Wi-Fi 5.0, Bluetooth 5.0, headphone jack and how it differs, fingerprint reader on the back. This terminal will be accompanied by Android 10 with the Xiaomi MIUI 11 customization layer.

Basically, as a summary, the differences that we find between the Xiaomi Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C are limited to the rear camera, the processor and the fingerprint reader, where the Redmi 9C fares better.

In the presentation that took place today in Malaysia, the prices of the two exchange terminals were revealed. The Xiaomi Redmi 9A is about € 75 to change and the Xiaomi Redmi 9C is about € 90. Logically, to these prices it would be necessary to add the corresponding VAT 21 % so that the prices when they officially arrive in Spain will increase a little.

We are looking forward to having these two terminals in our product portfolio and at kiboTEK as always we will be among the first to bring you the latest in technology.
